Discouraged
Mid-Week Meditation
Please sit or recline comfortably. Cross your arms over your chest and take two deep breaths.
Notice the rising and falling of your chest and stomach.
Now, breathe normally. If you feel comfortable, close your eyes.
When conditions send us reeling from what we see as the unfairness in life, may we remember that what we perceive is but one chapter in the book of our lives. And when we struggle to change conditions that seem impossible and desperately want to rise out of the rubble that seems to bury us, may we look up and discover that by concentrating on the expansiveness above, we can settle inwardly to the peace within us. May the courage to look deeply, to know who we are at any moment, remove the disappointment and disorientation that disrupt our peace of mind. May we come back to center and hold onto our truth.
We rest in these thoughts and offer this prayer and meditation in the name of all that is LOVE.
May it be so
