Abundant Joy
Please sit or recline comfortably. Cross your arms over your chest and take two deep breaths. Notice the rising and falling of your chest and stomach. Now, breathe normally. If you feel comfortable, close your eyes.
May we know the abundant joy sitting unnoticed as we live, love, and work throughout the day. When we stop and breathe during the points in our day that seem most stressful or challenging, we broaden the view of our inherent wealth. And with a broadened view, we know that what we are feeling, seeing, or hearing in the moment bears hidden gifts. When we stop, we quiet the mind long enough to welcome joy into our lives. Our gratitude for the moment shows us that there is nothing wrong right now, just energy preparing for the next moment. We commit to removing the veil of anger and displeasure to fully embrace the moments that open us to abundant joy.
We rest in these thoughts and offer this awareness in meditation and prayers in the name of all that is Love.
